myNMSU and Online Learning
To access online services, users will need a NMSU Username and Password.
To activate your account, visit Create myNMSU Account.

- Synchronization of email, calendar, and contacts to your mobile device
- Skydrive, OneDrive, and Lync
Canvas is the learning management system NMSU uses for online course delivery.

NMSU Student Housing Connections
Each dorm room and student apartment is equipped with high speed internet connection.
Student provides their own network card. Internet speeds up to 10MB. Available in: Garcia Hall, Monagle Hall, Piñon Hall, RGH, VDM (q-x) and Chamisa.
- Student provides own network card.
- Student is issued a self-installation kit.
- Internet speed up tp 5MB available in: Greek Complex, Tom Fort, Cole Village, Sutherland, Cervantes (a-j) and VDM (k-p).
Available in: ZTA, Chi Omega, Delta Zeta, VDM (k-p), Cervantes (F,I and H), Greek Complex, and Piñon Hall. Chamisa and RGH have wireless in the lobby area.

Computer Labs and Equipment Loans
Equipment Rental Program
Desktops, laptops, ipads, projectors, camcorders, and digital cameras are available for rent. Rental periods range from daily to semester use.
Equipment will be available for rent at the start of each semester on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Pick-up/return in Computer Center room 148, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Laptop and iPad Checkout
Checkout a laptop or iPad to up to three hours at a time while you study in the library. Visit one of our checkout locations:

Each dorm room, student apartment and student family housing unit is provided with an active common telephone line by NMSU Housing.

Cable TV Service
Basic Cable is provided by NMSU ICT in Piñon Hall only. Cable services are provided through Comcast in all other housing facilities.
Training and Tutoring
Various demos are offered to assist students with Canvas, myNMSU, and other technology resources. Demos can be one-on-one, presentation style or hands on. Most overviews take between 20-40 minutes depending on the services you are inquiring about.
