If I am having problems with learn.nmsu.edu (Canvas) who should I contact?
If you are having simple navigation problems, or have forgotten how to find something in learn.nmsu.edu (Canvas), call 575-646-3838 and our Technology Advisor can assist you during regular business hours.
If your problem is with content, it is always a good idea to contact your instructor first. Often times it is a simple matter of enabling a feature. If the instructor can't help, the instructor needs to contact Instructional, Innovation and Quality at 575-646-5125 during regular business hours (8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday).
I think I have been locked out of the learn.nmsu.edu (Canvas) login, what do I do?
If you attempt to enter in your username and password incorrectly 8 times, the system will lock you out. But be patient, after 10 minutes it will unlock and you can try again. If you get locked out again, you will need to find out why your username and password are not working.

What are the preferred internet browsers for using learn.nmsu.edu (Canvas)?
Chrome, Firefox, and Safari seem to function better on learn.nmsu.edu than Internet Explorer 9. If your having problems, try switching your browser, and see if it helps. Whichever browser you use, be sure that it is the latest version. All of these browsers can be downloaded for free:
