New Mexico State University Net is a campus-wide, high-speed digital data network available to all members of the university community. There are numerous ways for members of NMSU's university community to connect to NMSU-Net. Among those ways are:
- Residence Hall Network

Network Registration
New Mexico State University's network, although available to any member of the university community, is private. All computers must be registered with the University. Computers must be registered with the University following the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).

Internet: Wireless
As of Spring 2009, there are 33 Aggie Wireless Zones on NMSU's campus and that number continues to grow. Having wireless capabilities means that those who use laptops or other wireless devices do not have to be connected through a phone line to access the Internet.
Aggie Wireless Zones are publicly available access points that can be accessed by anyone who has an enabled NMSU username and password. To access and use Aggie Wireless Zones your computer's network connection must be configured for DHCP and it must be equipped with a wireless network card that is Wi-Fi compliant.
